NATURAL MINERAL WATER

Abstraction site:

Natural mineral water VENDEN is abstracted in one of the most beautiful places in Latvia - in picturesque Gauja National Park,the place where famous health center "Cirulisi" was previously located. Natural mineral water VENDEN is abstracted from "Cirulisi" borehole No.DB 7642. It is a natural water with a small amount of mineral salts and excellent taste. The borehole is located next to VENDEN plant, therefore any additional transportation is not required, as well as no stocks are required, water is abstracted as much as necessary.

This mineral water has a long history: from the end of the 40s of the last century to the beginning of the 90s, the well-known health resort "Cirulisi" was located here, and people from both neighboring countries and Europe came there for rest and treatment, and the mineral water was used for health restoration procedures.

Water abstraction site has received the following:
Mineral water VENDEN has a low degree mineralization and an optimal combination of minerals, it may be used without restrictions;

Natural mineral water VENDEN complies with the Regulations of the Cabinet of the Republic of Latvia No.736 "Regulations on the natural mineral water and spring water", certified by accredited certification authority BALTSERT certificate;
PET water bottles and corks meet security and safety requirements, as evidenced by certificates of conformity issued by the producers.
Volume:
Natural mineral water VENDEN, which is filled in 0.37l, 0.5l, 0.75l, 1.5l PET bottles, as well as 0.25l and 0.75l glass bottles.
Classification::
According to the classification set in the Natural Resources Tax Law natural mineral water VENDEN corresponds to underground water of average value.

Before packaging visual quality control of finished production; bottling level, existence of label, quality of sticking and corking, conformity of the label take place;

Certificates

VENDEN production process is monitored by the Food and Veterinary Service. Since 2011 VENDEN plant has been certified according to requirements of ISO 22000: 2005 "Food Safety Management System". The company has a quality control laboratory which is also evaluated in accordance with requirements of ISO 22000: 2005. Abstraction and production of natural mineral water VENDEN as well as spring water VENDEN Mezavots is certified by the Latvian Certification Centre.

Difference between natural and drinking water:

Natural mineral water and spring water are microbiologically safe water abstracted from underground water deposits by one or more natural or bored exits and differs from drinking water by composition and constant temperature in the range of natural fluctuations of the deposits. Natural mineral water and spring water are not chemically or otherwise treated, except mechanical filtration to filter possible mechanical impurities such as sand grains. A consumer receives water created by nature;
Drinking water is surface water and underground water that in the untreated form or after special preparation is intended for human consumption, for preparation of food, for domestic use, for sale, and for use in production of food, regardless of the type of supply (by water pipeline, in tanks or in packages). Drinking water is treated in various ways - chemical, physical, thermal, depending on the purpose of its use..

Water of natural origin is by far the most popular choice in the European Union: natural mineral water and spring consumption together are 97% of the total market volume;

The higher mineralization in water, the more salty taste it has;

Mineral water of increased mineralization should be used in limited quantities and it is not suitable for children under the age of seven;

On a label of a mineral water bottle a producer must indicate place of production and the most important water ingredients;

Natural mineral water is intended for consumption in natural, untreated form;

Origin of the most famous natural mineral waters in the world is always associated with mountains, because air and water are always cleaner there.
